Singer Burna Boy's sister, Ronami Ogulu has shared more information about the unwavering support her mom and dad gave to his brother, Burna Boy when he began his music career.
Ronami had previously mentioned in an interview that Burna Boy and her mother are the nicest people in the family.
In the same video, Ronami discussed the factors that contributed to the unwavering support Burna Boy received from their parents.
Ronami revealed that there were instances when Bose Ogulu paid part of Burna Boy's remuneration for performances to ensure he was happy with his craft. She also disclosed that their father would often drive Burna Boy to and from his shows.
"When he was coming up, people would call to book a show and let's say it was in Warri, and they'll be like, oh we are only gonna pay 100k, and she knows that he's not gonna wake from his bed in Lagos and come to Warri for 100k, when he has 100k. And so, she would tell him it's 200k. She would take out her salary because she has her own language school and she was teaching at the University in Port Harcourt at a time. So she will take out of her money and pay him and add it and say, it is 200k and my dad will drive him to the show and drive him back home," she said
