Nigerian afrobeats singers Divine Ikubor, widely known as Rema, and Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, have been listed on Barack Obama's 2024 Summer playlist.

The duo made the list alongside 42 others.

The playlist which is shared annually has become a long-standing tradition of the former president. He also shares his favorite books, songs, and movies.

The songs on the playlist are a diverse mix of genres, including "Wanna Be" by GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion, "My Best" by Saweetie, "Love Me, Jeje" by Tems, "Yayo" by Rema, "Whiskey Whiskey" by Moneybagg Yo and Morgan Wallen, "How Do U Want It" by 2Pac, and "The People" by Common.

Recall that Burna Boy's "Sittin' On Top Of The World," featuring 21 Savage, and Ayra Starr's "Sability" were included in Barrack Obama's 2023 summer playlist.

Music icons including 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Stevie Wonder, Janet Jackson, Mavin Gaye, Beyoncé, and Ella Fitzgerald were also on the 2023 list.

Additionally featured in Barrack Obama's 2023 Summer Playlist was Grammy Award-winning vocalist Tems with her song "Me and U". There were 28 songs on the 2023 playlist, while 2024 is made up of 44 tracks.
