Throwback tribute from Davido to late mum surfaces; netizens react

An old heartwarming letter from Afrobeats singer David Adeleke better known as Davido to his late mother, Veronica Adeleke has left social media users in awe after it emerged online.

In the tribute from young Davido, he wrote about how he missed his mother's smile, hugs, kisses and how she loves him regardless of his stubbornness.

He wrote: "Sweet mother, how much I love you and how much love you gave to me. Despite my stubbornness, you are there to correct me. I miss your warm hugs, lovely kisses, and your lovely smile. You are one in a million. You will always be on my mind rest in peace. Your loving son, Adeleke David."

The tribute left social media users praising David for making his mother proud as they believed she would be happy seeing her son marry a good woman.
