Nollywood actor and filmmaker Kunle Afod has come under fire from social media users following the public release of the late actor Sule Suebebe's funeral arrangements.
Recall that the Yoruba actor passed away at an unidentified hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, early on Wednesday, June 12.
Pastor Ademola Amusan, also known as Agbala Gabriel, a preacher from Ibadan who had been tending to the actor's illness for months, broke the news of his death. Later, it was claimed that the actor's family had declined to accept the clergyman's corpse.
Kunle Afod revealed the late actor's burial preparations on his Instagram page. The placard stated that Suebebe would be buried in Agbala Gabriel Egbeda Church in Ibadan on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Sharing the poster, Kunle Afod wrote: “Final burial arrangements for Sule Suebebe. Rest in peace”.
Several of his coworkers flooded his comment section with condolences for the late actor. However, many people expressed displeasure with Kunle Afod for spreading the news, pointing out that he never assisted the actor when he was alive and needed help.
