Popular rapper M.I Abaga has disclosed that Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid received a huge sum of money from a political party due to his significant social effect.

However, the rap icon confirmed that Wizkid declined the kind offer.

MI Abaga pointed out that Wizkid maintained objectivity in contrast to others.

He further disclosed that he was given twenty times more by the opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

M.I's disclosure sparked numerous reactions from social media users. Some praised Wizkid for being competent while others stated that Davido would have accepted the money if he were the one.

This information comes after Wizkid stressed in a tweet that money cannot buy love.

Recall that Wizkid gave some advice to his fans on his Twitter page in April, concerning money and love.

He mentioned in one of his posts that being wealthy was not a guarantee of true love. Thus, being wealthy does not entitle one to be able to buy love.
