A leaked whatsApp chat claiming Afrobeats singer Davido and his wife Chioma Rowlands welcoming twins have emerged on social media after a cleric confirmed the news by sharing it on his church's Facebook page.
Rumours have been circulating that the musician and his wife, who lost their son in October of last year, have welcomed a set of twins.
Recall that in one of the songs from his Timeless album, Davido made a hint that his wife might become a "Maba Ibeji" (mother of twins), which only served to support the claims.
‘Abi mo meji, mama Ibeji’ is a line from Davido’s song ‘In The Garden’ which he featured Morravey.
If true, the birth of the couple's twins would be a sign of optimism after they lost their son when he was just three years old.
The report has sparked a lot of enthusiasm, and many people have desired that it is true.
