Renowned Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), reminisced about a significant role he played in an old movie where he endured considerable tribulations.

Taking part in a throwback on Thursday engagement, he shared a clip from the movie titled “The Price,” where he portrayed the lead character, Pastor Ken.

The emotional 1-hour and 57-minute film was released in 1999 and was directed and produced by Teco Benson.

Throughout the movie, RMD’s character faced numerous trials, including a false accusation of attempted rape during a counseling session.

A tall woman named Stephanie Okereke went for counseling and attempted to seduce Pastor Ken. He resisted her advances and pushed her away when she approached him provocatively.

In response, she quickly removed her jacket and tore her innerwear, then fell to the floor, pretending to be distressed and crying for help.

Following this incident, the church’s board of trustees announced his alleged offence to the congregation and suspended him.

He was also called out by one of the trustees to stand in front of the congregation who then instructed to pray and hand him “over to Satan to torment him bodily so that his soul would be spared on the last day”.

Captioning the post, the veteran actor wrote: “THE PRICE … The things pastor Ken passed through in this film no be small. Who remembers this?
