Nollywood Actress Osas Ighodaro took home the Best Actress in Drama category at the recently held Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).

Osas won the coveted award for the second time in a row at the 9th edition of the event, which was hosted at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, on Victoria Island.

She received the award on Saturday, May 20, for her performance in the movie 'Man of God'.

To win the renowned award, Osas beat competitors like Bimbo Ademoye, Ini Edo, Nse Ikpe-Etim, and others.

Social media users had mixed reactions about Osas winning the prize for the role, with many pointing out that there were other actresses in that category who were more suited to win.

Netizens suggested that Ini Edo, Bimbo Ademoye, and Nse Ikpe-Etim were better candidates for the award than Osas.
