Hilda Baci gets verified on Instagram

Nigerian chef cum actress Hilda Effiong Bassey, who is also known as Hilda Baci, has been verified on Instagram after breaking the record for the longest cooking marathon.

Inspections on Monday, May 15, of her Instagram profile revealed that she now has the blue tick.

After reaching the 87 hours and 50 minutes mark, she is poised to break the Guinness World Record for the "longest cooking marathon by an individual" with her record-breaking performance.

The foodpreneur switched on her cooker at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, to start the competition, and on Monday morning she beat the previous world record holder.

If recognized by the Guinness World Records, Hilda will succeed Indian chef Lata Tondon, who now holds the record with a record-breaking 87 hours and 45 minutes of nonstop cooking.
