IK Osakioduwa reacts to photo of Sanwo-Olu’s aide protesting against non indigenes of Lagos

Media personality IK Osakioduwa has raised concerns over the attacks of non indigenes of Lagos state before, during and after the 2023 elections.

Speaking in an interview with News Central on their Breakfast Show, IK condemned the widespread of violence that occurred at various areas of Lagos.

He called out Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s aide, Jubril Gawat who was spotted with some All Progressives Congress supporters embarking on a protest against no Lagosians.

He noted the protesters held a placard that read; “This is our Lagos, it is not your Lagos. You are just here for business”.

IK described this act as bigotry. Adding that since the incident occurred, Gawat has not been sanction even though he is a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media.

The media aide asked that should the contribution of non-indigenes of Lagos be taken out of the state, then he doesn’t know what it would become.

Also, the APC is yet to distance itself from MC Oluomo's threats saying those who won’t be voting for the APC to remain in their houses hours before the Lagos governorship election.

He questioned the police actions having claimed that they will be investigating when there’s a clear video of him making the statement.
