'Nigerians are daring' - Ghanaian media personalities hail Nigeria

Ghanaian media personality, Roland Walker has made an incredible observations about Nigerians and why Afropop is striving at the pace it is now.

The media personality during the TV3, New Day morning show on Wednesday, February 15, asserted that Nigerians are naturally adventurous and as such they never fear the outcome of their actions.

He added that Ghanaians should emulate the steps of Nigerians since it is Nigerians who have taken the African music global.

Roland who couldn't fathom the height Nigerians are taking the African music industry, said Nigerians have a certain drive which makes them stand out when it comes to competition.

He also stated that "Nigerians are the most college educated when it comes to migrant population of all Africans in America."

Rolland further said he doesn't know whether it's because of socio-culture or because Nigerians are born adventurous.

He applauded Nigerian artists for the name they have garnered for Afropop and their contribution to taking African music worldwide.

Co-host, Berla Mundi was of the view that Nigerian songs are refreshing. Adding that a listener can never get bored.

She said: "This is not to put any Ghanaian artist in disrepute or anything but when you listen to Nigerian music, we have equally good music but there’s something different about them, you can listen to 20, 30 Nigerian song and each one is really good and you question the songs that are out here in Ghana and you ask can we play the same number of songs and still be amazed by the quality that we’re getting, I’m not sure!"
