Burna Boy gives journalist $2k to replace her damaged camera

Self acclaimed African Giant Burna Boy has reportedly given a female journalist more than $2000 equivalent to 921,000 naira to replace a camera she broke while hurrying to interview him.

A Twitter user with the handle @HipHopMin5, stated that an intern in Paris broke her camera in her quest to interview Burna Boy.

HipHopMin5 said Burna Boy immediately instructed his accountant to give the lady money to replace the smashed camera when he noticed it.

He wrote: "While in Paris today a young Journalist on internship mistakenly smashed her “Panasonic GH6” Camera worth over $2000 dollars while rushing to interview Burna Boy. The African giant noticed this and asked his accountant to give the Journalist some money to get a new Camera.❤️????????"

The Grammy Award winner's deed sparked discussions among social media users who thought the musician did it to appear nice and win over foreigners.
