I became a millionaire six years ago despite being famous for two decades - Toyin Abraham

Nollywood actress cum producer Toyin Abraham has revealed that she became a millionaire only six years ago even though she has been popular for over 20 years.

The actress made this revelation while differentiating between fame and wealth. She noted that although she first gained fame 20 years ago, she began making money just recently.

Toyin added that people always get celebrities and wealth mixed up, so they assume famous people are wealthy when that isn't always the case.

She said: "There's a difference between fame and there's a difference between money. I have been popular for over 20 years. I started making money maybe five or six years ago. I became a millionaire about six years ago, all these yeas that you people knew me, I wasn't wealthy, fame is different from riches, you people always mix it up."
