Veteran Nollywood actress Ini Edo has shared her opinion on 50 Cent’s plan to create a movie based on
the exploits of convicted fraudster, Ramon Abbas who is also known as Hushpuppi.

While praising the development, the actress gave some advice on a possible cast.

Recall that 50 Cent on Wednesday, November 9, announced the possibility of a television series about the life of Hushpuppi.

It follows Hushpuppi’s 11 years imprisonment for his role in online fraud.

He wrote: “For my scammers I gotta do this one. Hushpuppi series coming soon! GLGGreenLightGang I don’t miss.”

Mixed reactions have trailed his announcement. While some people believe the idea should go forward, others believe it should not.

Ini Edo, on the other hand, thinks it's a smart idea but advised the movie should be dominated with Nigerian actors.

Ini Edo who took to the comment section wrote: “you’re welcome, Nigerian actors are your best bet.”

The suggestion is in line with one made by Uche Jombo, another Nollywood actress, who also appealed to the American celebrity to make sure a Nigerian actor gets the part in the American star's comment area.

She also wrote in the comment section: "Please give a Nigeria actor the opportunity to play this character."
