Popular Nigerian singer and actor Bankole Wellington, aka Banky W, has received several backlashes after a label he co-owns, Empire Mates Entertainment (EME), signed a management deal with Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality star, Whitemoney.

EME is a music labels in Nigeria that have promoted and brought artistes like Wizkid, and Skales to the limelight.

However, since announcing a deal with Whitemoney, social media users have shown their displeasure, as they think Whitemoney is not talented enough as an artiste.
