Omawumi, explains why she stayed a baby mama for four years

Astonishing Omawumi Megbele, a Nigerian musician, has revealed that she stayed a baby mama for four years because she didn't want to be married until she was certain that she and her spouse were a good match.

She was a baby mother by choice for four years until her husband, Tosin Yussuf, agreed to marry her, according to the singer, who recently became a year older.

The singer revealed this during an appearance on TVC on Thursday, June 3, when she was asked if it is morally acceptable for a woman to choose to have children without being married.

She went on to say that she decided not to marry after their daughter was born until she was sure they were both ready and that no one has the right to criticize a woman's decision.

”I was the one who did it. Before Papa Kamila decided to marry me, I was a baby mama for four years. I'm not sure why. I was a stay-at-home mom for four years before deciding that I didn't want to marry until we were both good and ready.” she remarked
