14th Headies: Wizkid wins Artiste of the Year category for the 3rd time

Popular Nigerian music star Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid was awarded the Artiste of the Year 2021. He also won the Viewers Choice Award.

This would be the third time the Nigerian singer won the Headies Awards for Artiste of the Year.

The 'Joro' hitmaker beats other nominees such as Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mayorkun and Burna Boy to win the award.

Wizkid's appearance to the show this year came as a shock to many as he is known to snub the Headies Award show in the past.

The event held in Lagos, Nigeria on Sunday, February 21, 2021, saw artistes like Simi, Brymo, Fire Boy among others walk away with some awards.
