One of the most versatile entertainers in Nigeria, Falz has confirmed his interest in joining colleague musician, Runtown to protest against the brutality of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on Thursday, October 8.

This comes after Runtown revealed that he won't back down on his scheduled protest despite Naira Marley backing out of his which was slated to happen yesterday.

In the wake of this Falz revealed that he will be joining the “Kini Issue” crooner to lead the protest come Thursday.

Recall we reported Naira Marley said the ongoing calls to ban Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) is fueled by armed robbers and criminals, noting that there is not need to disband the anti-robbery squad.

Naira Marley made this known after he cancelled his scheduled protest many thought were against SARS.

He stated that Nigeria needs a complete overhaul of the police service rather than disbanding SARS who have become known for arbitrary killings and other human rights violations.

The Tesumole crooner stated this in an Instagram live session on Tuesday. He also gave reasons why the planned protest against police brutality earlier scheduled for today was cancelled, citing Covid-19 concerns, PM News Nigeria reports.
