Comedian AY recently took to social media to share his thoughts on unemployment in Nigeria

According to him, the laziness of most Nigerian youths is caused by unemployment

- The comedian turned actor described it as heartbreaking to earn a good degree and find no job in a system that doesn't work

Unemployment is no doubt a major problem in Nigeria and despite the increase in entrepreneurship, there are still millions of unemployed people hoping for a better future.

Nigerian comedian turned actor, Ayo Makun popularly known as AY recently weighed in on this issue, explaining why he thinks most Nigerian youths are lazy.

According to him, this laziness is caused by what he described as the 'tragedy of unemployment'. AY stated that it is sad for one to earn a good degree and yet, find nothing to do.

He tweeted:"The laziness of most Nigerian youth is caused by the tragedy of unemployment. Nothing is more heartbreaking than graduating with a good degree with no job to do or finding yourself in a system of governance that doesn't work. Your situation sometimes determines your priorities."

Meanwhile, talented Nollywood actress, Belinda Effah, has taken to social media to express hurt over the attitude of Nigerians.

The screen diva expresses how hurt she was to see Nigerians have misplaced priorities.

Taking to her Instagram page, she stated that Nigerians respond better when treated like animals. According to her, things won’t change until people have their interests in the right place.
