Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, recently gave some Nigerians online a food for thought following his recent tweet about how the white man contributed to the issues Nigeria is facing today.

Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Uche Jombo, earlier took to the micro-blogging platform to question who cursed Nigeria.

Responding to her question, Edochie quoted the tweet pointing fingers at the white man. According to him, the country was structured in a way that it would never work and this was done by the white man to ensure the country keeps depending on him.

He wrote: "Oyibo people! They structured it in such a way that it will never work. So we'll keep misunderstanding and fighting each other, making little progress and depending on them for everything. Same thing they did in many other African countries. Africa needs to wake up."

Yul Edochie is not only known for his unique deep voice or his talent on screen, but he is also revered for his family background.

It is no longer news that the film star is the son of legendary Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, and that he took after his father’s footsteps in pursuing an acting career.

Just recently, Yul took his fans on a trip down memory lane after he shared an epic throwback photo of himself as a child with his family.

Also, he recently shared an adorable video featuring him and his teenage daughter, Danielle, on his official Instagram page.

The talented actor appeared to have been going to a movie shoot location and he made a quick video for the gram before heading to his destination.

In the video, Edochie noted that he is excited because his daughter decided to follow him to work.
