A Nigerian professor has taken to social media to share her opinion on hard work.

Identified as Ann Amuta, she revealed that favour is more important than hard work.

Amuta went on to urge people to not just be hardworking but also worn on their hearts.

While many people believe that to get far in life, hard work is all that is needed, a Nigerian professor is of the opinion that it takes more than hard work to get to the desired position.

Identified as Ann Amuta, she took to Twitter to explain why favour is more important than hard work. Amuta stated that she has been in several meetings where the person with the 'good energy' got the job.

The professor who admitted she never believed in these things revealed it all changed when she got into positions of power. According to her, people loved to work with positive and encouraging people.

Amuta is of the belief it takes more than hard work to get ahead in life.

Read her post below:

"I agree that hard work is important. But I believe strongly that favor is more important. What grants you favor is your disposition, energy and attitude. I’ve been in too many meetings where the person with the ‘kind aura’, ‘good energy’ etc...got the job/scholarship.

I never believed in these non-tangible things until I entered positions of power. People desire to work with positive, encouraging, uplifting people. So, work your a*s off as you strive to make more money, but also do inner & thorough work on your heart.

Meanwhile, there are many people who are of the belief that one's substance is much more important than their physical appearance. To this set of people, beauty is almost useless.

Well, a Nigerian lady doesn't seem to share in this school of thought. Identified as Natalie Ewaen Usen, she recently took to Facebook to share her thoughts on beauty and why it is a currency.

Usen who advised people not to 'shrink from' or 'minimize' their beauty, stated that there are doors beauty can open that brains can't.
