Students can't remember what they are taught - Simi critics educational system

Simi Simi

Talented Nigerian singer, Simisola Ogunleye, recently took to social media to share her thoughts about the country’s educational system.

According to her, the system is in shambles and most people cannot remember what they are taught after leaving school.

Simi said people spend years learning something they don’t care about only to leave school and do something totally different.

Education is no doubt an important factor in the lives of most people and it has even been described by many as the key to success.

Despite the importance of education, a great number of people, particularly in Nigeria, end up deviating from what they studied in school to make ends meet.

Just recently, talented Nigerian singer, Simi, took to social media via her Instastory to speak on the education system.

According to the 'Duduke' crooner, the educational system is in shambles.

She explained further by saying that most people cannot remember what they were taught in school despite spending so many years there.

Simi continued that a great number of people have potential and talent that they do not tap into because they feel it is not prestigious enough and it leads to them spending years learning something they do not care about.

By extension, they forget everything they learned and end up doing something totally different with their lives. Simi ended the post by asking what the point was and who did this to us.
