Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, has taken to social media to speak on recent happenings in the country particularly concerning misuse of public funds.

The film star preached that voting should be abolished until there is a change, reports Pulse.

According to her, voting should stop until death sentence is approved for political leaders who misuse Nigeria’s funds.

The current situation of things in Nigeria has raised concern amongst its citizens. While a great number of people seem to be fed up, others have proffered ways they feel will bring about a change.

Whenever election is around the corner in Nigeria, politicians have been known to make big promises but are nowhere to be found after attaining the position.

Just recently, Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, took to social media via her Instagram page to speak on the rot in the society and suggest what action to take to bring about change.

According to the film star, from her own experience, any incoming governor or president campaigning for votes and promising a better Nigeria is a liar and should not be voted for.

She said that any political party that is also promising a better Nigeria is a liar because they have ruled and nothing has happened.

In the caption of the post, the actress said that voting in the country should be abolished until death sentence is approved for politicians and public servants who misuse Nigeria’s funds.

In her words: “We should abolish voting in Nigeria until death sentence laws are given to politicians and public servants who misuse Nigeria’s funds. I said what I said.
