Singer turned politician, Banky W has clarified old tweets between him and Wizkid who was signed to his extinct EME Records.

The tweets which many have used as a source of motivation shows Wizkid begging Banky W to sign him to his record label.

Wizkid tweeted: “@BankyW hey Mr Banky..my name is Wizkid nd I’m up nd coming in d music industry nd I need ur help mehn”.

Banky W responded: "k send me ur demo".

Reacting to the tweets which went viral, Banky W stated that it was just a joke between him and Wizkid who was already signed to EME.

He said, "Lol so I hate to depress everyone that's using this tweet as motivation, but this was a joke. He was already signed to EME at the time and we had been working together for a year and a half or so. We were just catching cruise. It does not happen by tweeting. it's by working."
