Nigerian celebrities who attended AMVCA go into self-isolation

Nigerian celebrities who attended the 7th AMVCA are beginning to announce that they are practising self-isolation amidst coronavirus scare.

This was after Professor Akin Abayomi, the Lagos State Commissioner of Health, advised all those who attended the event to self-isolate or report to authorities if they show symptoms of coronavirus.

According to him, one of the confirmed cases of coronavirus in the State attended the event which took place on March 14th, 2020.

Some of the celebrities who have announced that they are practising self-isolation include Lilian Afegbai, OAP Do2dtun and Toke Makinwa.

Lilian Afegbai wrote: "You all know I attended the AMVCA, and so far I have been home, practising social distancing... I urge everyone to do same, suspend everything, for now, health is wealth. STAY INDOORS".

OAP Do2dtun: "Do the needful and walk with your heads high. I am not sick, no symptoms. Be safe!.. don’t take anyone to their grave. This will pass. I was at the #AMVCA.. this is day 9 #SelfIsolate please".

Toke Makinwa wrote: "I hope you and yours are keeping safe, thank you l for your messages and prayers, I worked at the #AMVCA, I have been off air and self-isolating, making TikTok videos to entertain you, not sharing unverified information and just trying to keep my mind active. My team members and I have been hydrating and staying healthy, exercising, washing our hands and monitoring ourselves".
