Kenneth Okonkwo, Zack Orji and some veteran Nollywood actors have paid their last respects to three Nollywood heroes who passed away recently.
The veteran actors organized a candlelight procession for Mr Ibu, Zulu Adigwe and Amaechi Monagor who tragically passed away in 2024.
The candlelight procession was held at the Unity Fountain, Abuja. Nollywood performers who were present are; Zach Orji, the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) Emeka Rollas, Sidney Diala, and Noni Okocha
Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo shared the information on his Instagram page and prayed that the departed's souls rest in peace.
He wrote: "We, the Nollywood family, paid our last respect to three of our Veteran Heros - Zulu Adigwe, John Okafor (Ibu), and Amaechi Monagor, with a candlelight procession at the Unity Fountain, Abuja. Standing with Kenneth Okonkwo are Zach Orji, Emeka Rollas (AGN President), Sidney Diala, and Noni Okocha. May their souls continue to rest in peace"
John Okafor popularly known as Mr Ibu died on March 24, 2024, after a long battle with diabetes which later resulted in one of his legs being cut off.
Zulu Adigwe also died on April 23, 2024, however, the cause of his death remains unknown.
Veteran actor Amaechi Muonagor also died on Sunday, March 24, 2024, after suffering kidney failure and was on dialysis.
