Yul Edochie's views on male children days before his first son died

A few days before the tragic incident, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, who reportedly lost his first son, Kambilichukwu Edochie, on Thursday, March 30, had contended that neither parent's child's gender is more essential than the other.

The actor's son, Kambilichukwu became unconscious and was sent to the hospital for care, but the doctors' attempts to revive him proved unsuccessful.

According to reports, the boy had a seizure while playing football with classmates at school and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital but he unfortunately didn't make it.

Prior to the incident, the actor had urged parents to embrace all children and express gratitude to God, regardless of their gender, via his Instagram account.

Yul asserted that a male child is not more important than a female child and vice versa.

He wrote: “A female child is not more important than a male child. A male child is not more important than a female child. Treat all children with love and be grateful to god for any one he gives you.”
