Actor Yul Edochie has come under heavy fire from Emeka Ugwuonye, the founder of the DPA Organization and May Edochie's legal representative in their divorce proceedings, for allegedly failing to fulfil his parental responsibilities.
A recent episode of media personality Nedu Wazobia's "Honest Bunch" podcast served as the impetus for Ugwuonye's caustic critique of Yul Edochie.
Actress Yvonne Jegede defended Yul on the show and expressed her perplexity over why Yul is often criticized for taking a second wife yet Ned Nwoko, a fellow polygamist, has received great sympathy.
May Edochie's attorney retaliated by exposing the stark differences between Yul Edochie and Ned Nwoko in a scathing new video.
In contrast to Ned Nwoko, who regularly pays his children's school tuition, he accused Yul of stopping this payment. He claimed that this neglect of duty is a major factor in why Yul is constantly criticized whereas Ned is overwhelmingly supported.
Ugwuonye claimed that Yul coldly told his daughter Danielle that she should ask her mother for money because she earns more than he does.
On the other hand, the lawyer claimed that Ned pays for his kids' tuition as well as other household expenses.
This sparked outrage on social media as many lampooned Yul Edochie for being an irresponsible father. They also applauded May Edochie for keeping quiet about the issue and not bringing it to social media.
