You took my name to herbalist – Iyabo Ojo slams Lizzy Anjorin as feud escalates

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has accused her colleague Lizzy Anjorin of taking her and her children’s names to a herbalist, as their long-running feud flares up again.

The clash between the two movie stars, which started in 2023 and seemed resolved in 2024, has returned with fresh allegations of supernatural attacks, legal drama, and threats to life.

Ojo, whose Lagos office was recently gutted by fire, said her family has been under attack. Her daughter Priscilla claimed the fire was one of many threats, revealing that a warning letter was sent to her mother in May.

The letter reportedly said their movements were being monitored and that they would “go through hell.”

In a video posted on Instagram Friday, Ojo directly accused Anjorin of being behind the threats and warned that she should be held responsible if anything happened to her or her children.

“If anything happens to me, my daughter Priscilla, or my son Festus, Lizzy Anjorin should be held responsible,” Ojo said.

The actress also accused Anjorin of linking her family to the death of singer Mohbad and claimed that she had filed a criminal petition against her.

Anjorin had earlier claimed on social media that the ₦1 billion defamation suit filed against her by Ojo had been dismissed, with the court allegedly ordering Ojo to pay damages.

But Iyabo Ojo refuted the claim, explaining that what took place was an ADR (Alternative Dispute Resolution) session — not a formal trial.

“We have not even started the main case. The ADR judge advised us to settle amicably, but Lizzy continued her attacks,” Ojo said.

Ojo also revealed that Anjorin once denied knowing her in court and claimed her only grievance was that Ojo associated with people who “bullied” her.

She alleged that Anjorin regularly bullies her family, including her son-in-law and partner, and accused her of making numerous false accusations, including using voodoo and planning harm.

“You even admitted to taking my name and those of my children to a herbalist. Now that you’ve finally mentioned my name publicly, the case will go forward,” she said.

“You will explain in court how we supposedly killed Mohbad and all the other things you’ve said. Every single allegation will be addressed legally.”
