'You sef for dey street' - Toke Makinwa likens Peter Obi’s supporters to election thugs

On-air media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa has described supporters of the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as election thugs.

Taking to her Instagram page, she revealed her displeasure over how people bully others on social media for not supporting their choiced candidate.

Even though Toke didn’t mention Peter Obi in her post but it’s obvious she is referring to him because his supporters have furiously attacked anyone who doesn’t campaign for Peter Obi.

Toke referred to how thugs bully people on the streets if they don’t support or vote for their choice candidate.

According to her the two are similar and social media users should thus stop complaining about election violence because Obi’s supporters could also be on the streets.

She added that the only difference Obi’s supporters and thugs is education.

Her words, “You bully people on Twitter if they vote for a candidate you don’t like.

Thugs bully people on the streets if those people vote for a candidate they don’t like.

Stop complaining about election violence then because you sef for dey street.
