You’re mad if you have N20M in Nigeria and you japa to abroad - Aremu Afolayan

Nollywood actor Aremu Afolayan has criticized people who are already wealthy in Nigeria and have fled for greater opportunities abroad in a recent video that has gone viral.

In a video with his colleague Baba Tee, Aremu Afolayan criticizes Nigerians who have as much as N20M in their bank accounts but still decide to leave the nation for other nations like the US, Canada, and the UK, among others.

Aremu Afolayan and Baba Tee said they were upset by those who sold their residences for N20 million or more and then decided to go overseas, describing it as a bad choice.

The movie performers showed a clip of a family napping in a foreign country's parking lot, giving the impression that life is not as simple there as many may assume it is.

The two laughed at the notion that someone with N20 million in his account would sell their houses to go overseas, labeling it as "madness."
