Nigerian artiste Adekunle Gold has drawn a lot of flak for his soundtrack to the Hollywood production 'The Book of Clarence'.

It was revealed on Wednesday, November 29 that Adekunle Gold and Yemi Alade will be making their global debuts on 'The Book of Clarence'.

The highly anticipated film with a soundtrack will feature appearances by the two music icons with international performers like Jay Z, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Jorja Smith, Shabba Ranks, and others.

Jay Z, who also serves as the film's producer, will contribute new songs to the James Samuel-directed picture.

Adekunle Gold while sharing the good news, wrote: “It’s great to see such incredible representation in a first-of-its-kind film. #TheBookofClarence, a film by @Jeymes features new music from myself, @JAYZ @liltunechi @yemialade, and more. Exclusively in movie theaters January 12.”

However, the movie has drawn a lot of criticism from online users who label it blasphemous and disparaged the singer.
