'You changed my life forever' - Selena Gomez appreciates Rema for mega hit song 'Calm Down'

American singer, Selena Gomez has taken to her social media page to express her gratitude to Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema.

In her post shared on Instagram, she noted that Rema had changed her life forever and thanked him for choosing her to be a part of one of the biggest songs in the world.

Sharing pictures of herself with Rema, she captioned it, "This man has changed my life forever. Rema, thank you for choosing me to be apart of one of the biggest songs in the world. Love you forever. @heisrema"

Rema and Selena made their first collaboration with Calm Down after it was initially released in February 2022 on his album, Rave & Roses.

The song became an instant hit with fans around the world jamming to it. Calm Down made its way to Billboard's Hot 100 list upon release.

It also became the second-highest peak hit of Selena Gomez’s career, as reported by Billboard.

Selena Gomez post has garnered over 4 million likes among them is Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavin Records, the record label that signed Rema.

Reacting to Selena Gomez appreciation post, Rema took to the comment section to express his love for the singer.
