You can’t HIV-shame me - Bisi Alimi tells critics

Gay rights activist, Bisi Alimi has taken to social media to clapback at trolls ridiculing him over his HIV status.

In a message sent to critics he described them as "werey" (mad) saying they cannot mock him as he was the one who revealed to the world that he is HIV positive.

“Someone needs to tell these low budget homophobes that they can’t HIV shame me.

“Me that I openly oust myself as being HIV+, is it the same me, you want to use HIV to shame? You need to do better, awon werey. I will leave you to your bitterness,” he tweeted.

Reacting to his post, netizens took to his comment section to share their thoughts;
