‘You are possibly the most successful miscreant in your lineage’ – Seyi Law, X user battle over tax reform bill

Seyi Law, a comedian and Senior Special Assistant, SSA on Entertainment & Tourism to Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has received criticisms over his comment on President Bola Tinubu’s tax reform bill.

In a post shared on social media, Seyi Law slammed those expressing concern over the tax reform bill, referencing remarks made by Borno State Governor Babagana Umara Zulum.

Seyi tweeted: "You want to hold the SW to ransom because of a tax bill?! These people too funny. All their degrees have been thrown in the garbage while trying to defend their elites. Zulum sef dey zuzu."

Recall that Zulum, speaking on Sunday’s edition of Channels Television’s Politics Today, addressed the tax reform bill.

The governor claims that the four tax bills currently undergoing review before the Green Chamber, when passed into law, will only benefit Lagos State.

Many who were displeased by Seyi Law’s statement tackled him.

A civil engineer named Ikene responded in Seyi’s comment, saying, "If you are sacked now & you go back to cracking dry jantofubu jokes and disturbing Seyi Tinubu's precious moments on WhatsApp with your empty ideas, you will say your governor is wicked because how are you his mouthpiece & talking about another governor like this?"

Seyi Law also clapped back, “Your head is as big as Ekenedilichukwu yet devoid of a functioning brain.”

Other social media users reacted.
