Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has weighed in on the ongoing feud between Chinese businessman Ross Boss and social media critic Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan.
The drama began after VDM released a video warning his followers not to do business with Ross Boss, alleging that the Chinese trader, who deals in fairly used clothes, popularly known as "Okrika," was not trustworthy.
In response, Ross Boss fired back in a viral video, accusing VeryDarkMan of fabricating lies and misleading the public.
He challenged the activist to present evidence of any wrongdoing, insisting that VeryDarkMan's influence had not brought him any significant business deals.
Reacting to the controversy, Portable came to Ross Boss's defense, calling VDM a liar and a manipulator.
The singer alleged that the Chinese businessman had once helped the activist by paying for his hotel accommodation, food, and clothing, only for VDM to later tarnish his benefactor’s reputation.
Portable further warned that if VeryDarkMan continued with such behaviour, he might eventually end up in jail.

"VeryDarkMan, you’re a manipulator. China Ross Boss paid for your flight ticket, bought your clothes, paid for your hotel, and now you’re calling him out? I told you before you go jam agbako with that your behaviour!"😭🫵
