'You all should cut that shit out' - Blaqbones warns as he announces new date for album release

Fast-rising Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule known professionally as Blaqbones has issued a stern warning to his fellow musicians.

The rapper in a video he shared on social media recounted how colleagues in the music industry always decide to release their projects on the same they he will intend to do his.

According to him when he announced his Mr. Bombastic album in 2020, Kanye West decided to also release his project the same day.

In 2021 when he announced his "Sex over Love" album, DJ Khalid and Ariana Grande also decided to drop their projects the same day.

He added that in the following year when he announced the release date of his "Young preacher" album, Drake also decided to release his song on the same date.

Blaqbones added that Asake and Davido also decided to drop their albums the same day when he chose March 31 to release his album.

As he announces a new date for the release of his upcoming album, he advises his colleagues to pay attention to it so that their projects don't conflict with his.

Blaqbonez has set Friday, May 12, 2023, to release his forthcoming album.
