Yoruba actress, Alhaja Anike Alajogun tests positive for coronavirus

Veteran Yoruba actress, Alhaja Anike Alajogun has tested positive for coronavirus in the UK where she lives and works as a nurse.

The actress who retired from the movie industry in Nigeria relocated to Manchester where she works with the NHS.

Alhaja Anike Alajogun, who owns the popular Mataan Hotel, Ibadan, Oyo state, contracted the virus while treating patients in the UK.

She was placed on compulsory two weeks isolation after she fell ill with test result for the virus coming out positive.

This makes her the first Nigerian celebrity abroad to test positive for the deadly virus.
