Nigerian musician Yemi Alade proclaimed herself winner after losing to colleague Tems at the Grammy Awards.

Wearing the traditional attire, the singer, who portrayed herself as an Edo beauty, looked stunning at the occasion. Using boastful language, she posted the images and the video to her Instagram profile.

Yemi Alade claimed that the reason she was nominated was because, despite the doubters' doubts, she continued to believe.

She cautioned her followers to keep moving forward because no one can predict the future.

She wrote, “I’m A Winner. I’m here because I didn’t stop believing, and even when doubt and nay-sayers counted me out, I always COUNTED MYSELF IN and surrounded myself with uplifters and truth tellers(not yes men)
