Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade turns 35-years-old today, March 13, 2024. To celebrate this new age, the amazing singer took to her social media page to share gorgeous photos with her followers.
The “Amazing Grace” singer posted pictures of herself on her Instagram page with a piano in different poses and a gorgeous red dress.
After spending 366 days around the sun, Yemi Alade said in the captions of her photos that she was in great health and was ready for her next journey.
She wrote: “366 Days Around The Sun in good health and prosperity. I’m ready for the next trip.”
Colleagues and admirers took to the comments section to celebrate the vocalist as they wished her long life and prosperity.
Yemi Alade was born on March 13, 1989, in Abia state but was raised in Lagos.
In 2009, Yemi Alade began her career as a professional musician after winning the Peak Talent Show. Most of her tracks were released by Effyzzie Music Group, with whom she secured a contract in 2012. She inked a multi-year licensing agreement with UMG France and Universal Music Africa (UMA) in September 2019.
Her 2014 song "Johnny" gave her widespread recognition as the song peaked at number one in the UK and African music charts.
