'Words fail me' – Charles Inojie mourns late actress, Cynthia Okereke

Nollywood actor Charles Inojie has posted on social media to express his sorrow at the passing of his friend and colleague, Cynthia Okereke.

The actor posted a picture of the deceased on his Instagram page along with the caption, "The news of her death left me speechless."

Charles Inojie expressed his desire for her to find eternal peace and promised to value their friendship always.

He wrote: “Words fail me. Rest in peace, my friend, aunt, and mom. I will forever appreciate your friendship."

Cynthia Okereke who was kidnapped last year, 2022, passed away at the age of 63.

On Wednesday, July 12, 2023, the late actress' colleague Joseph Okechukwu shared the tragic news on his Instagram page.

The director admitted that he was preparing to cover Cynthia's airfare to travel to the US when she passed away on Tuesday night.

Sharing her photo, Joseph wrote: “REST IN PEACE, Nwanyi oma. I’m shattered beyond words. The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come finish what we started only to here you went to be with Lord just last night is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with in recent times. I pray I’m able to recover from this shock. Life is really just a mist. One minute you have it, the next you don’t.
