Singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, was spotted shedding tears at his late mother Juliana Morayo Balogun’s burial.

The service which took place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos on Thursday, October 12, 2023, saw the singer struggling to hold back his tears..

Wizkid, who was reported to be the only son of his parents, was seen sitting beside his partner, Jada P, at his mum’s wake service.

The award winning singer who did not hesitate to weep was seen using a handkerchief to dab his face.

Fans and sympathisers took to social media to share their thoughts. Some claim the Wizkid's celebrity status did not allow him to grieve properly.
