Top Nigerian artiste, Wizkid, sparked massive reactions after an old tweet of him, made in 2016 resurfaced again.

Apparently, the 'Morayo' singer had joined some fans to hustle for money on the social networking app in 2016.

A netizen had tweeted then that Don Jazzy was giving out N50,000 to fans and encouraged people to go for it. Wizkid was one of the people, who signified interest then. He stated that he was going to use the money to buy diesel that would last for ten days.

Shortly after that the tweet could no longer be seen on X as it showed that it had been deleted.

Fans of the singer, took to the social media platform to defend their favourite artiste.

According to them, Wizkid was just catching cruise, as he was already in money as of 2012.
