Wizkid causes buzz online as he reveals Rema, Asake, others as his current favourite artistes

Grammy Award-winning singer Ayodeji Balogun Ibrahim better known as Wizkid has sparked conversations on social media after listing his current top five favourite musicians.

A few hours ago, the Afrobeats singer made headlines when he revealed that he would be taking a six-year hiatus from the music industry to focus on his acting career.

Wizkid wrote in a post on his Instagram story that he loves action movies where he fires guns and that he only wants to kiss the female actresses he adores.

He also listed his current top Nigerian singers on his verified 17.8 million-follower Instagram page.

According to Wizkid, his current favourite musicians are Shallipopi, Odumodublvck, Rema, Asake, and the rapidly rising vocalist Bloody Civilian.

Wizkid showed his appreciation for Shallipopi by declaring that he would still dance to his song, even if the singer coughed during it.

The superstar also suggested that everyone who is not on the list should leave.

He wrote: “Yea my fav artistes rn…Odumodublvck, Rema, Asake, Bloody Civilian!! fucking superstars!

“And if Shallipopi cough!! I go dance! everybody gerrout!”
