Upcoming musician and Instagram comedian, Carter Efe has told his colleague Ruger that Wizkid asked him to ignore him after he rubbished the singer’s new album ‘More Love Less Ego’.

Naija News recalls that Ruger was dragged on social media for allegedly referring to Wizkid’s “More Love, Less Ego” album as noise.

Ruger took to Twitter a few days after Wizkid new album was released to beg his fans to forgive him for allowing them listen to noise.

He assured his fans his new singles, ‘Red Flags‘ and ‘Asiwaju‘ will be better than everything other artistes dropped that week. This didn’t sit well with Wizkid’s fans, known as Wizkid FC, who dragged Ruger.

On the 15th of November, Ruger went live on Instagram to promote his new songs and Carter who joined the live decided to give his colleague a piece of his mind.

According to him, he wanted to unfollow and block Ruger after his tweet, but his daddy- Wizkid, begged him not to.

Carter Efe claimed Wizkid told him to leave Ruger alone, that he is a small boy and he is allowed to make mistakes.

The 13-track More Love Less Ego album sees the Afrobeats maestro infusing a blend of Afropop, Amapiano and R&B vibes to create a feel-good rhythm and celebrate love over money.

Speaking on the album, 32-year-old Wizkid had said, “I feel we need more love in our communities. We need to just be good to one another and appreciate life more. So, this album title and even the music is just my own way of making people feel good.”
