Wizkid, Burna Boy win at Mobo Awards; Davido, Tiwa Savage perform

Afrobeats superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy won big at the just concluded, Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards 2020.

Burna Boy won the Best International Act category while Wizkid bagged the Best African Act.

This event was the first in three years since it went on a hiatus.

Davido, Rema, Fireboy, Adekunle Gold, and Tiwa Savage also got nods at the event.

Burna Boy and Rema were shortlisted in the Best International Act category alongside Drake, Megan Thee Stallion, the late Pop Smoke, Lil Baby and more, Today.ng said.

Also, Burna Boy, Rema, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy, Adekunle Gold and Tiwa Savage were in the same best African act category.

Ghanaian stars, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy also received nods alongside, Ivorian, Afro B, South African, Master KG and NSG.

The event which was live streamed on Youtube on Thursday was hosted by Maya Jama and Chunkz.

Davido and Tiwa Savage performed live at the event.
