The Nigerian Army has detained two soldiers after a video of them providing security at the high-profile wedding of social media influencers Peller and Jarvis circulated widely on TikTok.

The viral footage showed the two personnel acting as bodyguards during the private ceremony.

Unlike other members of the security detail present at the event who wore facial masks to conceal their identities, the two soldiers appeared with their faces fully exposed.
