Nigerian music legend, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known as D’Banj, has revealed why he paid a courtesy visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The Koko master as he’s fondly called shared a video of his visit on his Instagram page, saying it was an honour to be received by the number one citizen of the state.
D’banj’s delegation was led to the governor’s office by the CEO of Temple Company, Idris Olorunnimbe.
He wrote:
“Today was good, meeting with Mr. Governor, @jidesanwoolu, presenting my upcoming album The Entertainer: D’Sequel.
“It was also an honor to have the Deputy Governor, @drobafemihamzat, present as well. Big shoutout to my brother @siphodlam for joining me.
“As I shared the new tracks, I was reminded of how much Lagos has always been at the heart of my music journey, and I’m grateful for the continued support. The Album is almost here, OooooSHeeeeee.”
