Popular TikTok content creator Habeeb Hamzat, also known as Peller, has shared that his shift from Islam to Christianity was driven by traumatic childhood experiences.

During a live session with fans, he reflected on his early days at a Quranic school called ‘Ile Kewu,’ where he faced harsh physical punishment.

He explained that these experiences left emotional scars and played a significant role in his decision to leave the Islamic faith.

“I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. I go to church,” he declared. “I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic School. That’s why I stopped going.”

Peller mentioned that the trauma not only distanced him from religious education but also significantly influenced his spiritual path.

He made this known shortly after his engagement news went viral on social media, with his girlfriend confirming their relationship.
