Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has addressed a fan’s call for her to use her voice more forcefully against Nigeria’s worsening security problems.

The exchange began when a follower commented on Savage’s Instagram promotional post, urging her to use her platform to highlight worsening insecurity and other national issues.

The user said her influence could help drive awareness.

The mother of one responded that she had spoken on such matters before and faced heavy criticism.

She added that public posts do not fully capture her involvement, noting that she contributes in ways that are not always visible.

The singer said she does not feel obligated to publicise every action she takes.

She maintained that her efforts are known to God and that criticism will not stop her from remaining active on the issue.

She also expressed hope that Nigerians would be guided with wisdom to overcome the crisis.

“When I spoke I was crucified for it but trust me that won’t stop me from still being active. Just know just because you might not see my post about it does not mean I am not doing anything. I just don’t have to validate my actions, God sees. May God help us and guide us all with the right wisdom to overcome this tragedy”, she wrote.
